North Star Midwifery strives to uphold the midwifery model of care by providing high quality, personable, personalized, home maternity care with the health and safety of both mother and baby as the first priority. Aly Folin, CPM, LM is dedicated to care that attends to the body, mind, and spirit of each pregnant woman and family she works with.

"I believe that birth works beautifully with as little interference as possible. I believe that women know best how to birth their babies. I strive to provide care that respects each woman and her family's needs — physical, emotional, spiritual and cultural. In labor, I provide unobtrusive guidance so that women, supported by the people they love, can find their way through labor. It is a privilege for me to be in partnership with women throughout their pregnancies. I learn so much from women's innate wisdom and feel honored to be included at each birth I attend."
